Adam Turba
Adam Turba is a licensed architect with over twenty years of practice, fifteen of them rooted in the Catskill Mountains and the broader New York State region. He trained at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City, where he developed a foundation in design thinking that has shaped every project since.
His approach begins with the person who will live or work in the space — understanding how they move through a building, what they need from it day to day, and what they hope it will feel like over time. From there, the work turns outward: how light enters a room at different hours, how views are framed or revealed, how a building settles into its site. The result is architecture that feels considered from the inside out.
Studio Turba Architecture
Studio Turba Architecture is a practice based in the Catskill Mountains, working across New York State. We take on residential, interior, site planning, and master planning projects — work that ranges from a single room to the organization of a larger property over time.
We work with a small number of clients at once, which means each project gets the attention it deserves from the first conversation through to the final drawing set. Every project is different, shaped by its site, its owner, and the particular way light and landscape come together in that place.
